A touch up spray gun is a perfect tool for covering small areas and to do touch-up work. These guns are smaller in size and has a nozzle of about one or two millimetres.

With such a small nozzle it prevents overspray, saving energy and material. Because of the light weight, they are also well suited for detailing and crafting work.
Because these spray guns have to be used under low pressure, they are designed to be used with an air compressor. A touch up spray gun will give great results with a 1 or 2 horsepower air compressor.
These guns are available either as pressure feed (canister under the nozzle) or gravity feed (cup above the nozzle) variants. The gravity feed models have a filter at the base of the cup to prevent residue from clogging the nozzle. A pressure fed gun with an overhead trigger is best suited for detailing work as it gives a better view of the work-area and more control.
Most spray guns are built with a die-cast aluminium body and a stainless steel nozzle for durability. When choosing a touch-up spray gun, make sure it is compatible with other equipment such as the hose, regulator and compressor. For best results try using 30psi for lacquer and 40psi for water based paints.
As when handling any other chemical and paints, make sure to wear necessary personal protective gear.
